Our first event this year is the Family Folk Dance!
Hosted at Espace Rêverie (49A Ave Donegani, Pointe-Claire), this will be a wonderful way to kick off the start of the year!
The first half hour (5:30-6pm) will be casual student and teacher performances. Then, at 6pm, it will transition into a party open to the public! We will have live folk musicians playing traditional music, lots of drinks and (nut-free) snacks, and a caller leading some family-friendly folk dances! (Imagine like a square dance with big circles, making arches, weaving under, stuff like that! Easy and fun for beginners!)
This event is open to the public, so bring your friends! The more the merrier! Fun for all ages!
This will be a great way to celebrate fall, and build community with other students, teachers and local families!
The minimum donation to participate is $10 per household to help pay for food/drinks, space rental, guest musicians, and teachers. Please remember to bring cash!
See you all there!
